I'm a huge World War II history buff. Something about that time period just intrigues me, something that just doesn't exist anymore. When the enemies and your duty and the objectives were black and white, where bravery was rewarded and heroes were commonplace.
Judging from WWII book and movie sales, I know I'm not the only one. To get to the point - what I'm looking for is a woman who shares this same interest with a large knowledge base of the war for a roleplay thread. If all you can say is that Hitler was bad and the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor - you're not what I'm looking for. I need someone to whom phrases like "Operation Market Garden" and "Iwo Jima" are meaningful. I also want someone who can put out good, thoughtful posts with well-developed characters. Please see my previous threads if you want a better idea of what kind of roleplayer I am.
Note that I don't have actual roles thought of yet. I'd like to discuss with you what parts you find the most interesting and playable and derive roles from there. If you think you're interested, please respond via PM or right here.
