Looking for a Female Friend

Im a married male who just recently experienced my wife having an online affair with a co-worker and am curious if anyone else has gone through this and what your veiws are regarding it. Nothing happened offline that I know of and believe her when she says so but I am confused about why people reach out on the internet but not home. Any advice, comments or other would be appreciated. There could be 101 reasons why she did it. You get a few nice words arrive in your email that you ave not heard for a few years or words that you have never heard that you have thought of hearing... wamo, it turns your head and it feels good. Also it's also nice to know that you are still attractive to another person than your partner of a few years, even if you still love them very much....

Thanks for the reply. I like to think of myself who was very much in touch with her and compliments her all the time. If we were married for many years I would think you to be right but its only been 3 and I show her and tell her every day that she is the light, love and lust of my life. Not trying to dispute your theory just trying to make sense of the events.
