Does anyone remember a story where a powerful being, like a dragon or something, came down to help a girl...acting as her guardian angel?

Literotica has a nice search function where you can search within a certain category, like Sci-Fi/Fantasy (which is where I assume the story that you're looking for would be located). Searching on dragon and guardian in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy category gives these 41 results. Of course, if the word guardian doesn't actually appear in the story, then your story won't be included in these results.
