Looking for a couple of roommates

The summer has just flown by and now it is time to move to the big city and look for an apartment before I start my freshman year in college. I take a long weekend and head to the big city, unsure of what I will find in the way of available living quarters, I'm really hoping to find a large apartment that I can share with a couple of people and share household expenses. I arrive in the big city and buy a newspaper and start looking through the rentals.

For Rent: Large 4 bedroom house, 1 1/2 baths, large LR partially furnished, large eat-in kitchen major appliances included, large game room in basement, no pets. Rent is 800.00/mo. References a must.

Hmmmmmm, I think to myself.......that would only be 200.00 per person if all four bedrooms were rented. I think I'll go check this out.

OCC: My character is Samantha, age 18, long red hair, shapely figure, stands 5'7". I'm looking for a few characters.......a landlord, and 3 roommates.........male of female is fine. Looking through the phone book I see that the number listed for the landlord is a local one, so I decide to give the person a call and see if there is still a vacancy. I'm sure something that sounds this nice will go rather quickly.

"Hello sir, my name is Samantha Browning, and I am calling in reference to the ad that I read about the 4 bedroom house being for rent, are there any vacancies left, and if so, may I be able to view the home?" I say as the landlord answers the phone.

I arrived at school, needing a place to lve. At the housing office they gave me a variety of rental ads, and included a few names of people that were looking for roommates.

I called one of the places and the landlord was kind enough to tell me that he had just talked to another girl who was coming out to look, and if I would like to come too that would be convenient. I had the address and found it with a few directions

Walking up to the door, it was opened, and there was another young student there, so we shook hands and met, and it seemed like it might work out just fine for both of us.

I showed up to look at the house and was welcomed by the land lord and 2 very beautiful girls, I couldn't believe my good luck,( I sure hope I end up living with them I thought), I introduced my self and took a look a look around, but it didn't matter this place could be a cardboard box and I would still want live there with these girls.

Note In Kitchen - From the Landlord

Hi All ..

I'm Roo yr new landlord and am looking forward to meeting you all .. Unfortunately this evening I am likely to be at work until late but will drop by to meet you all when I get off.

For now, make yourselves at home and get comfortable, you'll find I am most accommodating landlord and not prone to needless rules and regulations .. Live and let live is my maxim .. Only one main rule that I ask you to respect .. the attic room is my private space and although I don't live on site I do tend to stay over reasonably regularly especially when working late. Please respect that space as I will respect yours ..

By way of welcome, you'll find a case of beer in the fridge and if you call Luigi's on 555 123 6353 I've instructed him to send around a couple of large pizza's of whatever type you want - my treat ..

Looking forward to meeting you all .. and remember while you're here my house is yours except for the attic ..

One other little rule, I'd like rent paid on time .. but if you find yourselves short I'm sure we can come to some arrangement

Pretty funny how we all arrived at about the same time to view the house. Who would have thought that the house would still have all four bedrooms available. Everyone seems real nice, Jeremy is quite a sight for these tired eyes, and the two girls seem friendly enough. I just love Keteira's accent.....will be fun getting to know everyone.

We all go inside and find a note from the landlord telling us that he is sorry that he can't meet with us at the time, but to make ourselves comfy. He even pre-arranged for us to order some pizza as a treat from him. Sounds like a nice enough guy. Although his one rule is a little odd...........respect his attic as that is his room when he works late.......almost sounds creepy, but I'm sure it is just my imagination working over-time. He sounded nice enough on the phone when we spoke earlier. Guess we will all just have to wait and see.

"Ok, gang........who's up to taking a tour of this nice old house....any takers?" I ask.

Keteira is the first one to jump at the opportunity to go and check out the house. "Sure, you can call me Sami Keteira......do you have a nickname that you prefer, or do you prefer your name?" I respond.

Kereira and I head up the staircase to see where our bedrooms will be. I guess since we are the first two to head upstairs, we will get first dibs on which bedrooms we want. We giggle as we race up the stairs gettihng there before the others. The first room we pass is a good size room, it has what looks like a full size bed, a dresser, and a nice walk in closet. We head to the next room. It is really big and fully furnished. A nice queen size sits against the wall. It is really nice.......a big four poster bed with a canopy, a nice dresser with lots of drawers, a beautiful bow window area with a bench seat in front of it, and a huge closet. I look at Kereira and say right a way, "I get this one.....I get this one.......this is soooooo cool.......check out the view from the window!!" We walk over to the window and it looks out onto a huge fenced in back yard........we can see all the lights from the city from up here. "C'mon Kereira, let's go check out the other bedrooms!" I say.

Suddenly there were four of us, three girls and a guy. We took a toiur and rort of picked out our rooms, but the landlord had left a note saying he had left a case of beer and ordered us pizza, and would join us later

I was sure that he would want one of us to be responsible for the rental, and the others to sublet rooms, but that wasnt first on my list. I looked at the others and one girl especially dazzled me. Her name was Samantha, and she was a tall redhead who would catch anyone's eye, and I hoped we would become very close friends.

It sure was nice of the landlord, to give us the pizza. I watch as Sammy and Keteira walk up the stairs to check the bedrooms. I hear Sammi yelling "I get this one.....I get this one". I Start to check out the other rooms including a medium sized room with a large walk-in closet. I figure it should be enough room for my computer desk and my large tv. I decide I would like to take this room, but first I go down the hall to see were Keteira's room might be hopefully, it is the one next to mine.

Landlord .. finally finishes work ..

Walks into house and sees that the new tenants have settled in pleased to see that some meat feast pizza is still available and heats a slice .. been a long day

Wonder where they are .. ? awfully quiet ..

Walks up the stairs and sees a light under the main bedroom door on the second floor ..

Thinks to knock .. but realises it is late .. so makes his way to the attic ....

Well - no paperwork but i needed a place to sleep anyway. I took in some stuff and moved into the room, and then the four of us sat around drinking beer and getting acquainted.

I was in awe and very jealous of the other two girls that far outshadowed my plain brown hair and mousey bod. My strong suits were a nice smile, beautiful brown eyes, and a line of chat that never stops.

We all compared notes to see what each other's strong suits were, and since mine was cooking i think I got elected to be the chef. I thought Thanks, Mom, for all that training I got in your kitchen.
