So I remember reading a story about a vampire family looking to either settle in London or America, can't remember which. In the intro the family is aboard a ship heading for a new home, the family consists of the dad, mom, son and a daughter. They were rushing the trip because their kids comming of age for vampires was coming up, when they hit puberty they have to mate with the opposite sex in order to unlock their latent abilities. Later on the son unlocks flight like his mom while the daughter has to ability to teleport.
