This a totally pointless thread, but something that has been bugging me for ages.

Our resident logical philosopher, Joe W, reminds me of someone (or at least his AV does,) and its been driving me crazy.

Last week, I was watching a two-part tv programme, an biography of a particularly famous/infamous person. And suddenly it hit me. THIS is who Joe looks like........

hmmm, I'm tempted to play, but hard in one way...no one here has seen my face. Well, almost no one. I have two famous people I have been told I look like at different times and I often wonder if others will have the same opinion...

maybe I can help with look a likes for our other friends...

I do have blue eyes...but Eric Stoltz is not one of the two...

think lead in "Dirty Dancing" for one and first baseman-slugger for the A's and Cardinals for two...mostly got two when I had the goatee like his and my hair very short...got one when I had no beard and slightly longer hair. My wife agrees with #1 but not #2 (I'm much shorter and not quite that muscular...)

I am often mistaken for the professional wrestler Bill Goldberg. I'm big and bald and have a goatee, but I really don't think I look much like him. I get approached by little kids all the time who ask me for my autograph thinking I'm him.

People think of Sam Clemens or Frank Zappa, in my case. I'm not as thrawn as Zappa was; I'm quite fleshy, these days. But the comparisons are made nonetheless. People's idle comparisons are silly, sometimes.
