The first fall leaf.

And they caught a 4" praying mantis, but I'm NOT scanning that.
They are keeping it in the neighbor kids mom's tupperware, thank heaven it's not in mine.

A very productive Sunday they had outside playing today :)

*Er, all this talk about breasts, bugs and kids. I think I'll change my av until this is off the front page!

Very Kewl! The praying Mantis used to be so rare, but my kids are finding them too ...awesome.

Don't worry, If they can't lay eggs in your ear or other orifice you are safe :)

Hehe. Of course they brought this bug in the house to show me.

Yeesh Trail, please don't mention bugs and ears in the same sentence!

Hehe Soblue...

That thing that looks like a leaf is the praying mantis.

Fall leaves rule!

The do tend to get everywhere (much like some substances described in this here part) but the colors and shapes are satisfyingly diverse.

I love the leaf. It reminds me of what I have been missing for so long living in Florida. Thanks for posting it. I miss the fall and the changes in color.

It would be a great pleasure if Soblue and Lovetoread would scan one of their beautiful breasts.

I can't promise you a pic of "fall" from me but something will definately rise.

Fall is the best season out of the entire year. There is nothing better than the sunrise on a cool crisp morning with the trees in full color. In just a few more weeks we'll have lots of those leaves falling.... ;)

See if you can talk the kids into letting that little mantis go before they head off to bed though. He probably won't last long in Tupperware and he'll eat hundreds of aphids off your plants around the house every day if let go. They're really neat for kids to look at as far as bugs go but they serve an important role for us too!
