I couldn't get it small enough for an AV...... but man, I had fun doing this, so now I can partly relive it!

The expertise!

The technique! and your computer skills are getting good too ;)

:) Thanks to Harold cluing me into what I needed to do, I just looked on the net for a download program.

I plan on making a lot of these now. ;)

You gave Harold a BJ?

:p

*applauds* well done Starfish. Someone notify SunDance...i think we may have a late entry.

Thanks, and Harold is gonna be pissed that he missed that blow job too.

Oh, and I am making one of my dog being cute right now... I am gonna put it up next.

I wish I could do these in true color, but alas... I cannot..

Well, who gives a shit, when they look cool anyway....right?

If you shrink it to 111x111 pixels, it should load as an avatar.

And no comment from Harold eh?

:p

....interesting.;)

None required. I know what my dick looks like, and what it's been up to, and you don't need to cause it's NUNYA.

I am trying to figure out why they are coming out to be like 80kb, and I have to skimp on them.

I will try to shrink it, but I don't know if I have to shrink each frame or if I can do it to the final product......

Oh and Siren... :p

I think you have to shrink each frame, but I don't know what your program is capable of.

Why they're big:

An uncompressed GIF image 150x150x256 is approxiamtely 70.25Kb. That's each frame of an animated GIF.

If you have ten frames, that's 702.5 KB of information that has to be compressed. Depending on the content, GIFs compress about 80% Which would make your hypothetical ten frame gif about 140Kb when saved.

A tip to deal with the color distortions:

Reduce the color depth in the photo-processing program before saving to GIF format. There will still be some color distortion, but not as much as letting the save routine decide.

Sometimes running a soften or blur filter before reducing the color depth, and then running a sharpen filter will reduce the color distortions.

Some times rducing the color depth in stages reduces color distortion too.

Combining soften, blur, sharpen, and staged reduction should get you a useable GIF to use as a frame in an animation.

anytime anyplace and

:p

Cool. I found that if I save the photos off the camera as a gif. then they don't get distorted, so for ones I make from pics yet taken, I'll do that..... like the one where I am giving the finger.

I can't get them to load onto homestead, so I can't hotlink them, instead of loading them here if they are big files.

I thought you said you could only commit to Lavy, Siren.
*taps foot impatiently*

I aint talking committment here Tuna

:p

No shit... me you and the other bi ladies.....
