OOC: An idea that occured to me recently... deciding now to start a thread based on it...

Marcia Drake
A girl who moved to America about six years ago from Britain. A bit of a tomboy - about the only time anyone remembers her wearing tights was the time she played Peter Pan in the college play one year. Was quite a star attraction on the girl's track team - won several events for the college. Cute, 'boyish' looks, short dark hair, blue eyes, small but pert breasts, long legs (she was a very good sprinter).

Left America about two years ago to go back to London, to attend her father's funeral there, lost touch with her friends about one year ago.

A phonecall to one of her girl friends in America...
"Hiya! Guess who - you've got three guesses and the last two don't-"

"Marcia? Marcia!! Haven't heard from you in what, a year or so now?"

"Aw, my accent gave me away didn't it? <giggle> I know, I'm sorry, didn't mean to lose touch... How are you?"

"I'm great, thanks! Yourself? How's London been treating you?"

"Doing good. It was okay... glad to be back over here now though!"

"You're back over?"

"Yeah! Moved back into town a couple of days ago, looking up my friends, I must have a ton of goss to catch up on..."

"I'll say!"

"What you doing tonight? Maybe we can get together and have a few drinks?"

OOC: Marcia has changed since her friends last knew her - but how is for her old friends to discover...

Ooc TOTALLY tell me to delete and I will if this isn't the way to go about this.

Mary had sat staring at her phone for nearly 30 mintues after she'd hung up with Marcia. They use to be thick as thieves yet she couldn't imagine telling her half of what was going on now.

Still, they had been so close she couldn't turn down the invitation to drink. Marcia let her pick the place. It was a pretty run down bar but the pool tables were nice and the drinks were strong.

Mary was all pink next to Marcia. Mary picked glitter and glam every day over comfort. Difference was she was a full time lawyer now. Her pink mini skirts were dark red dress suits and her stilettos were kitten heels.

She'd dyed her blonde hair brown and glasses blocked her warm brown eyes. She didn't think Marcia would would recognize her so she let her know she'd wear a pink shirt, it wasn't likely anyone at the bar would be wearing pink.

She arrived at the bar early getting a Washington apple in a drink. The bartender, Alice, gave her a wink. She had gotten drunk and few times and felt Alice up. She'd experimented in college but only with men. Now she was equal rights for both genders and didn't believe in turning someone down because of it.

Her tight pink t-shirt showed some cleavage. Her jeans were form fitting on her side 6 hips. Her black rimmed glasses framed her heart shaped face well. She was eager to hear how her friend had been and even more eager to be able to forget her problems for a while.

Her black flip flops were 2 inch platform making her 5'9 so she could easily see above everyone's head if Marcia showed. She waited for Alice to come back with the balls for her table. No harm in shooting a round til her friend got there
