I have met, chatted with, and even cybered with a lot of women on Lit and I must say there are a lot who say they are interested in being friends but after one or two e-mails they disappear. There are, however, many nice people who do want long term friendships. I have corresponded with 6 different ones for about two years and a couple more for 6 months to a year.
Let me tell you, these friendships are well worth having, even if you never meet. And I always have time for more friends.
