Long Ass Story

I'm almost done with my recent story. I entitled it 'Forbidden Engagements' for now and it's at 177 pages in Word. Don't know how that converts to Lit pages. I'm thinking that when I post it, I should do so in sections, maybe 3-4 so that it's not too much of a hassle to read one long-ass story. What do you guys think?

I can't wait to move on and start another project.

About 7 word pages to a Lit page...roughly. So I would guess about 25 Lit pages. I might try to break it up into 5 sections. Just my opinion.

Post it as is if you didn't work out chapter breaks ahead of time. That's really the best way to see how it stands on its own

I didn't figure chapter breaks ahead of time, lol. That was professional of me.

Don't get me wrong, there are natural breaks that all I'd have to do is write "Chapter XX" and that'd fix the problem. But then again, I haven't read through and did any proofreads/edits.

Keep it in mind when proofing it then. If you can find the natural breaks, by all means split it up if you feel it needs it. Otherwise, I'd just post it as a whole the way it is. I like testing the endurance of the readers (I'm mean like that )

I agree. I think if people like a story, they'll read the whole damn thing. Most novels are in the hundreds of pages and people don't bitch about it. lol

Reading on a screen is different and really hard. You'll get more readers if you split.

a twenty five page story in the Novel category isn't unusual.... and yes they do get read if they hold the readers attention... The get bookmarked and read like you would a regular novel.

lol It's not really a story about 'asses' per se, although there are a lot of bare asses in it, but no anal sex. I could write a story about 'Ass People from Beyond!" Kind of a space adventure for ass freaks.

My first erotic story was 85 pages. I kind of just write until the story is over. At least I put a lot of fucking in it!
