I have 2 dogs, 1 car and 4 fish. Right now the cat is asleep across 1 arm. 1 dog on the bed crashed out on MY pillow. the other is asleep at me feet. They are great for company, but dont make for a hot date...

Now go take a dog or 2 to a park and some guy will want to talk with you!

I'm here in England and my partner is in California so all I get (apart from huge phone bills) is lonely and it's no fun.

On the plus side, you've joined a site which is oozing with people who are great and just love to talk - make use of them.
