Lonely Soldier

Hi folks,
I am posting to try and find some lovely Lit women who could help out a lonely soldier friend of ours. My hubby is in Iraq and this fellow soldier is about to head there, he is really lonely and would love someone interesting to chat with before he goes, and for sure while he's in the sand box.I registered him with one of the soldier "adoption" sites but I think cookies and beef jerky are only part of what he needs to feel supported. He is not registered here, computer time is neither private or free in his current situation, but he does have email. So if anyone would like to take on this project please pm me and let me know and we can decide how to connect you guys.

Thanks to the women who have taken the time to write/text this soldier,his morale is better, but he asked if there were others interested for friends in the same situation. Lit is banned btw in "country" unless you have private internet which most guys don't, as it is expensive and not the best.
So they are hoping to conect before they leave for deployment in a few weeks, that way they can already be chatting/emailing which can continue once they are "boots on the ground."
So anyone else want to cheer up a lonely guy????PM me for more info!

I just wanted to tell you what a great idea you have come up with. I'm a guy, and therefore probably not what you are looking for. But, if there is someone who just wants a pen pal, I totally volunteer. Again, I think this is a great thing that you are doing and you have my respect.
