Maybe you should post here what you're looking for in a new friend. Specify your interests and hobbies, those things you look for in a friend. That might help narrow down your prospects a little bit.

you need 100 posts to upload an AV, you can put a pic in your profile now though I think

Hmmm, are you using Windows or MAC? You probably also have a free little program that came with your camera? There are a lot of ways to do this. Do you have any photo software you know of on your computer?
