I still don't know the answer but I'll bump the thread in case someone else may be able to help.
I think that Nasty had the same problem recently - I don't know if he ever did get it sorted out though.

so in reality, you just keep bumping the thread in the hopes that Laurel (or someone who knows what they are doing), will read it an answer :p

Reboot your computer. During the black "BIOS" start screen, hold down the left shift key. When you are presented with the "selection" menu, choose, "Boot with the secret, working device drivers." Once the screen turns blue, hold down the left-shift, the right-control, and the minus (-) on the numeric keypad simultaneously. Count to five, the release the keys. Be careful to release them all together.

Your computer will say "Bill Gates is a Tech God." Now, press F3, then F7. You will get a menu that has several choices. Choose number "4. Boot with all the correct options."

Stand on your left foot only while your system finishes it's self-test and boot-up routine, then turn around once, counter-clockwise if you are in the northern hemisphere.

That should do it!

LMAO!

Thanks Guru. I work at a help desk and I can't wait to tell that to the next sales rep that calls with laptop problems. :D
