He's also under this particular investigation for what he did for decades before becoming president. That it's coming to a head now is because of how he dug in his heels about it and how he used corruption as president to put it off. That period includes the context of being fined $25 million for running a sham university and having it shut down and having his sham charity shut down. The Trumpettes are such dopes for what they'll tolerate from this con artist.

Well, if this one fails they have 10 more tries at it to be tied with the Hillary/Benghazi investigations, don't they? Get back to me when they have done that many and have found nothing. After all fair is fair huh?

You mean apart from Michael Cohen flipping on him after breaking campaign finance laws and for tax evasion? Every hear of Stormy Daniels?

I'm pretty sure that is how criminal enterprises are investigated and destroyed.

Congress critturs get less than $200,000 a year. 50 members of Congress each have more than $10 million in assets. 32 of the top 50 congressmen in asset value are Republicans, but the wealthiest of the lot is a Democrat.

One of the more interesting is Mitch McConnell who declared 3.1 million in 2009 and is up to $34 million today. His wife, Elaine Chao chips in a further $22 Million, and her capacity to distinguish the difference between public funds and private benefit has been under scrutiny of late. Poor soul may have been a tad conflicted as heiress to a multi - billion dollar shipping fortune whilst Transport Secretary.

Hillary Clinton was the original "Lock her up" poster child of the Right, and she isn't in jail either. She isn't even indicted for anything, nor has her charity been closed down. She never had a sham university going, of course, that was closed down and cost someone $25 million fines. :)
 
I don't want Trump locked up. I would rather put him down a manhole and weld the cover shut.
