I thought having my own thread to scribble my ideas might be a good thing and this is just that. Before I start writing them down, here is my SRP profile should you be interested.
Gender:
Being female, I would prefer creating female characters. I would not be averse to depicting male/transsexual characters if I am particularly interested in the plot.
Age:
I am most comfortable playing a character from a similar age bracket (25-35) but I can certainly do younger or older. I would not, however, play a character that is just 18. Sorry, that's just a bit strange to me.
Orientation:
I would identify most with heterosexual characters but I am willing to explore lesbian and bisexual characters as well.
Power Exchange:
I enjoy writing submissive roles. I usually prefer the male character to be older and dominant. I also like creating strong seductive female characters who are confident and charming. I do not know if I would like Femdom however.
I do not enjoy unnecessary cruelty and harshness from my dominant partner and I would rather have my character coerced/coaxed/brainwashed/seduced into submission.
Race:
I am willing to portray any race as long as I can do some background research on it. I do not want to write any story where religion is a major influence on the behavior of the characters. I also do not wish to write a story where the character's race is important to any extent beyond the physical description or perhaps, in rare cases, the geographical setting of the story.
Alternate species/fantasy races:
I would prefer to play a human. High fantasy/sci-fi/supernatural - I adore all these but I don't see myself reading/writing erotica in these genre. Well atleast not yet.
Settings:
I like my stories to be set in the present day. I love historical fiction but I can not commit before I know the setting. I would rather pass a story than botch it up with inaccuracies.
Likes/kinks:
I like stories that flow and well thought out characters. I enjoy snarky, witty, maybe even wicked characters more than a handsome man with a six pack abdomen.
Personally, I would also prefer the story to be fast paced, ending within a couple of weeks. However, I realize that is not always realistic and it would depend on how we decide to approach it.
Kinkwise, I enjoy stories with submission (recently enjoying the DDLG exchange), exhibitionism, perhaps a bit of public humiliation and voyeurism.
Dislikes:
I do not like stories where the characters have sex just for the heck of it. I do not want to do damsel in distress/knight in shining armour-esque stories.
I do not want a post that is a few lines and doesn't move the story forward. I do not like my coauthor defining my character in their post beyond what is absolutely necessary for the sake of continuity. Finally, I absolutely do not like poorly structured language or short forms in the posts like "idk" or "lol".
Kinkwise, I do not want to deal with scat or vomit. I do not write incestual stories or brutal rape stories. I do not want my character to be made to drink piss.
Availability:
I am pretty flexible in terms of my working hours and as such there are no fixed times when I am online. I should usually be able to post once a day, if not more. If for some reason I am unavailable over a number of days, I shall always inform my coauthor and I would expect the same of him/her.
