We are witnessing the implosion of the REPUBLICAN party!!!

We all warned them back in 2015 and the just didn't listen. I hope they like cuddling up to sleeze bags because that is all they will have left in their camp after this monumental purge!

There might be a few Republicans who stood up to Trump the whole time. ( I can think of a few names)

The rest are just like all those Germans, who support Hitler, and then claimed later they never really did, or the Italians who supported Mussolini, but then claimed later on they never really did...

If you didn't call out Trump over all his other bullshit, saying it now is too fucking late...*chuckles*

Liz Cheney:
“The president could have immediately and forcefully intervened to stop the violence,” Cheney said in a statement. “He did not. There has never been a greater betrayal by a President of the United States to his office and his oath to the Constitution.”

from that same article;
Katko also gave strong support for impeachment.

“To allow the president of the United States to incite this attack without consequence is a direct threat to the future of our democracy,” Katko said. “For that reason, I cannot sit by without taking action. I will vote to impeach this president.”

Kinzinger became the third Republican to say publicly that he’ll vote in favor of impeachment.

“There is no doubt in my mind that the president of the United States broke his oath of office and incited this insurrection,” Kinzinger said in a statement. Referring to the articles of the Constitutions, he said, “If these actions -- the Article II branch inciting a deadly insurrection against the Article I branch -- are not worthy of impeachment, then what is an impeachable offense?“

"On January 6, 2021 a violent mob attacked the United States Capitol to obstruct the process of our democracy and stop the counting of presidential electoral votes. This insurrection caused injury, death and destruction in the most sacred space in our Republic.
Much more will become clear in coming days and weeks, but what we know now is enough. The President of the United States summoned this mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of this attack. Everything that followed was his doing. None of this would have happened without the President. The President could have immediately and forcefully intervened to stop the violence. He did not. There has never been a greater betrayal by a President of the United States of his office and his oath to the Constitution.
I will vote to impeach the President."

so that's 3... then there's romney, probably(?) mitch mac,
