A Massachusetts parent and daughter in Rehoboth reported watching an egg-shaped UFO moving in a straight line at a slow pace on April 12, 2014, according to testimony in Case 55424 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The two were outside taking a break from raking their yard when the object was first noticed.

"It looked like an 'egg' with a straight line of travel, not bobbing or swaying," the reporting witness stated. "The object moved in a straight line at a slow pace and was hard to focus on because of the bright day."

The witness described the object.

"It was an egg-shaped object, white in color. Not sure if it was glowing or if reflecting, but it was definitely white. It seemed to slow a little before slightly curving its course and staying straight after doing so, ascending upward and then not visible anymore."

The witness said the object appeared to be controlled.

"It was not rising like a balloon would. It appeared to be ascending while traveling across the sky, slowly, with no swaying, no bobbing. The object appeared to be controlled."

A Pennsylvania woman who captured what she insists was an unidentified flying object on her cell phone camera says she is “scared to death now.”

A couple police officers also say they saw the UFO that night.

Stephanie Wilkerson says she was relaxing on her porch in Lower Paxton Township, Pennsylvania, Monday night when she spotted an object in the night sky.

“I thought it was a plane until I realized it wasn’t moving,” Wilkerson told ABC News. “I watched it for about 20 minutes and I started noticing it changing colors.”

Wilkerson grabbed her cell phone to record the mysterious object and also called her neighbor over to verify what she was seeing.

“He went and got his binoculars because he first thought it was a planet,” Wilkerson said. “Then he said, ‘No, it changed yellow. That is not a planet.’”

Wilkerson also called 911 but when an officer arrived at her home, even he could not explain the mysterious objects in the sky.

“He went there and apparently he saw them too so he called his sergeant and his corporal to come and verify what he was seeing,” said Lower Paxton Township Police Lt. Gary Seefeldt.

Authorities contacted both the local airport and the National Guard training center, but neither had records of any flight activity that night.

Wilkerson says she saw the mysterious lights again Wednesday night and a neighbor reports seeing the UFO last week as well, she said.

“For me to see that, I am now a believer in UFOs,” Wilkerson said.

SpaceX Rocket Launch Sparks Mass UFO Sightings
9/29/2013

A mass UFO sighting spanning Johannesburg, Cape Town and Mauritius has been attributed to a SpaceX rocket launch, which originated all the way over in California. On Sunday 29th September, Elon Musk's commercial space agency, SpaceX, carried out its first ever launch from the Vandenberg Air Force base, approximately 150 miles NorthWest of Los Angeles, CA. A little over one hour later, reports came flooding in from across the Southern hemisphere that there was a mysterious halo-like object in the sky.

After watching the above video footage from Mauritius, it's not hard to see why observers were perplexed. The object emitted a spooky white glow and when caught just right, could quite easily be interpreted as a classic flying saucer. But the bizarre object turned out not to be a visitor from another planet, indeed it was in fact traveling in the opposite direction...into space.

Since the reports came flooding in, explanations were also forthcoming with South African astronomer, Glen Roberts able to successfully attribute the eerie glow to a dumping of fuel from the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket's second launch phase. As the fuel load was dropped, it caught the sunlight which in turn gave the vapours their mesmerizing glow.

there was an interesting article i read once, tracing the evolution of reported phenomenon to the sci-fy film of the various eras. As movies evolve so do the crafts and creatures "seen."

Actual group hallucinations can occur if guided. These have been observed in drug induced states as well as in people that have similar organic brain dysfunctions exposed to each other. You would think that something that is not real in your brain would be completely different in the next guys brain who is also misfiring, but think of 60's LSD parties with overhead projectors and music and such to "guide" the spirit.
