Dunno, if your area is El Paso I could help out but ..... All I can say is to think safety first and use the buddy system. Take a supportive male friend with you and that alone should weed out most of the losers and abusive ones.

People use bdsm as an excuse to vent out their bad side, well, some of them do and I've heard some pretty scary stuff that has happened to girls. Submissives have to be extra careful. I hear that munches are good places to meet people and to just get out and start to meet people that are in the community. No one who is real will bat an eyelash at you using the buddy system, just keep that one thing in mind.
