little car help please, wanna look at new ones.

We just picked up a '01 Ranger for $16,9... extended cab, 5 speed, 2 wheel drive.

or check into a Ford Escort Sport...they're nice zippy little cars

Incentives are great now, thousands of dollars in rebates plus low apr. If you have good credit, you are in the drivers seat. Pick and choose, so to speak. If you are thinking minivans, you get a base for under 20K, I would say go for a 2002 they have huge rebates on them right now. For example, a Chrysler Town & Country has up to $5000 off , in some states march is auto show time, which usually has associated bonus rebates. Now really is great time to buy, think what you are looking for, go to kelley blue book(www.kbb.com) to get an idea of what your trade in is worth, then go to the manufactuer websites for specifics(ie....www.chrysler.com, or www.ford.com.....etc). If you need any other help PM me.

:D

Every two years?! I have a 1994 Volvo 4 cylinder that still runs like brand new. I wouldn't think of trading. Up keep isn't much. Paid for. I plan on driving it until it reaches at least 200,000 miles, and since I haven't even hit 70,000, I have a ways to go.

Just test drove a Kia Sorento SUV last week...excellent safety ratings, nice handling, powerful V6, quiet, and priced just under $20k for a 4WD. Had plenty of roon for my 6'5" frame, too. Not sure about the reliability factor.

If you trade every two years and buy a car with a huge rebate, you're going to be royally screwed.

If a van sells for $25,000 and has a $5,000 rebate, it will be worth about $15,000 the second you drive it off the lot.

Just look up what those 2003 used cars are selling for now that came with huge rebates and you'll see how drastically they depreciate - especially the huge SUV's.

Pay for it now or pay for it later.

I'm not a big fan of leasing because I like to keep my vehicles a long time. In fact, I've only owned three cars (in 15 years) and I still have two of them! That and the fact I've put 45,000 miles on my Jeep in not quite two years. Mileage overage would be a bitch. If you trade in every two like clockwork you might look at a lease. You may be able to get more car for less now.

OK, I have had my car for a year and a half. I generally like to trade in every 2 years or so.

I wanna new/used one.
Whats my best bet under 20,000?

a year old or newwer only.

Full size car, or larger.

Thought you were a "pick up" kinda gal.

Has the back seat been broken in yet? :p

I traded my 92 Buick LeSabre in on an 02. The 3800 V6 is very reliable and fairly spunky for a 6 banger. Front wheel drive for the snow, 4 doors for easy access to back seat action, and the chicks really go for a guy in a Buick.

You could get a Pontiac Bonneville.

Its full size car and has a proven engine that is extermely reliable and makes great power.

The top of the line SSEI trimline has every option you could ever imagine including a HUD(Heads Up Display) that projects all the important vehicle information onto the windsheild.

Here is a short blurb on the 2001 Edition.

Get yourself a Pontiac Bonneville.

It has nice power, lots of room and gets decent mileage. It's American so repairs are cheap too.
