This year is me and chronicle_tenko's first Valentine's Day (together), and this is what I have planned (hopefully he doesn't stumble onto this thread <.<). I really want this to be a very memorable Valentine's day, but I'm really stuck. Do you guys think this is enough or should I add more oomph to it? For those who don't know much about chronicle_tenko, well... he's a hardcore nerd at heart. He loves comic books, literature and he's a very simple man. I think that's why I'm stuck. He's simple.
He's groaning that I don't have to do anything for him this Valentine's day, but I really want it to be special. All suggestions are welcomed. Please Please Please lemme know if this is enough or not. I'll post a poll and see what you guys and gals think.
Thanks so much!
The Rundown:
1. I know he's taking us out for dinner, so I'm dressing up nicely. This Saturday, I'm buying a new set of Lingerie to wear underneath. Mind you, I'm a starving artist so I have no money. I think the most I can spend is 30-tops.
2. I'm also going to the art store by our place and getting a frame.
3. When we're out for dinner, I'm presenting him a framed drawing I drew of his favorite cartoon ladies: She-Hulk, Power Girl and Felicia from Darkstalkers. The frame will be decorated with images of random comic books.
4. I'm buying him a single rose, attaching it to his present, along with a box of Godiva chocolates, and a new pair of fuzzy slippers ( since his are so old), and a few comic books he needs to read.
It's simple, sweet and hopefully effective : )
