Sounds about right!
And you should definitely laugh. I am... otherwise I might cry!

You mean like how Texans refer to all sodas as coke?![]()

We should throw a few Stella in there for good measure.
Secret stash of bourbon too.
I can always change it up to a sun dress instead?
Minus the panties

Potato salad is a must. And for those concerned about spoiling, are you unaware of the concept of putting bowls of salads and dips and such on ice?I bought an inflatable serving tray that has a drain built in. You fill it with ice, place the cold dishes in there and as the ice melts, the water drains. And then you add more ice, if needed. It cost like $15.
Ok hotshot. At my BBQ the ice is for drinks. We like our potatoes hot. They can be fried, baked, oven roasted, mashed, scalloped but however you prepare them, they were meant to be eaten warm and not slathered in mayonnaise.
I'm sure I could have a real nice time at your BBQ but dismissing the meat to discuss some bagged chips and helluva good onion dip defeats the purpose of the event. I mean opening a bag of chips and cutting up a watermelon isn't slow cooking a pig for a day. But when that invite comes, I'll be happy to get it and bring you something nice to wet your whistle. But, if I may be so bold as to ask that you coordinate with QC, as I want some of that cornbread and I'm praying ala mode is an option on that warm apple crisp.
You wear what makes you happy. Undergarments are always optional.
Plenty of cold beer. As long as you don't mind a can, plenty of Stella (it's my boat beer). There are about 15 bourbins to choose from. I hope you stole some of QCs apple crisp. That shit sounds delicious.
Stella in a can?!?!
How can you have a rock star variety of bourbon and then you went the can route.
Bogey!!
Writes you a citation.
Or gets out the beer bong, pretty sure I still got it.![]()
It's a dirty little secret but beer in green bottles skunks easy. The cans are handsome and the beer inside is wonderful. Get one ice cold and try it. You won't go back. Besides, you can always use a glass.
Rock star to rock gut on the bourbon. If you are putting 6 oz of ginger on top of your 1.5 oz of bourbon, you aren't getting the good stuff. I save that for the folks that actually want to taste the bourbon. Blantons, Elijah Craig Barrel Proof C919 (it will curl your toes), Elmer T Lee, Col. Taylor small batch, Noah Mill, Buffalo Trace, Elijah Ceaig small batch, 1792, Larceny, Smooth Ambler Contradiction, Clyde May's, Old Forrester and Early Times.
Saturday afternoon was Mint Juleps (the covid KY Dedby) and Saturday night had old fashions flowing.
Yes, light, air, and heat. Dark bottles better than light ones, cans the best. Well, draught is, but I digress. Is it too early to want a beer?
So now I’m thinking about beer.
Reading a little about it.
Stella has been brewing beer for over 600yrs.
There’s gotta be a reason and science they’re using green bottles.
And totally off topic Claussen pickles are way better than Vlasic.
Uncooked and always cold.
Crispy.
Now I’m thinking fried dill pickles and beer!
Oh boy, my thoughts are going downhill.

I'm officially starting a rumor that SMN is pregnant.![]()
Dooo it.
Wait.
I guess you just did it.
