Whole new month! And it’s Sunday.
It’s a big chore day here.

So I was thinking: dirty jobs.
We just had the pleasure of cleaning out a 60 gallon turtle tank!
Shudders.

I feel, in this time of great strife and uncertainty, that it would be a great boon, if we, the people, got to know who possibly made the e-cut.

I've artificially inseminated cows, excavated a basement, changed the brakes on my car, etc. I'm still not keen on blowjobs, though.

It never occurred to me that I could outsource the shit I didn't want to do for the longest of times. Now, I'm definitely more willing to pay someone who could do a better job than me and quicker.
Sure, I could sheetrock the garage, but that's a pain in the ass and the professionals can knock it out in a day. I'm not competing with that!

To the Nth degree. Because I'm one of those crazed, neurotic controls freaks you hear about.

Next year? A couple of things for 2021 but no solid dates. This whole uncertainly bubble that's engulfed 2020 has wreaked havoc with my emotional state.

I usually like to have a few trips and holidays booked. 2021 will hopefully contain all the trips that didn't happen this year, but I'm somewhat doubtful they'll happen. I'm holding seats on a flight back from Sardinia next September, couldn't cancel it only reschedule. I've booked a week in Wales and a week by the English seaside just in case foreign travel is still not happening. And I have loads of theatre vouchers from cancelled performances

2022? There's a train cruise thing I fancy, starting with the Orient Express. And a postponed family wedding will be on, we hope.

It’s lunchtime and I have no plans for what to eat. I didn’t realize lunch was going to happen again today. Seems like a pattern, but you can never be sure.

That’s why I don’t spend much time thinking about the future.

If I have to plan, I will, but I like making things up as I go. I find that when I make plans I end up not wanting to do them when the time comes. I’m much more of a “what do I feel like doing right now” kind of guy.

I have zero planned in 2021, mostly because of these uncertain and unprecedented times... once the times are certain and precedented again I'll get back to scheduling.

I plan ahead but I don't obsess over it or get all torn up inside if things fall through.

Household repairs or projects which involve outside resources or material purchases get scheduled due to monies involved.

Getting together with friends or with family is generally decided on a few hours or days in advance.

Vacations and training classes for recreational hobbies do get planned and generally paid for in advance. Vacation trips I'd hoped for this year fell through due to the pandemic. So I'm tentatively planning two trips for the upcoming year.

I can't say I'm a huge planner. I have some things planned ahead. Like Vacations. But not necessarily what we'll do on that vacation. I like to play it by ear. This year it'll be 8 of us.6 being the youngins. So there's always a chance they'll want to have their own time.
I wish I was more organized, but when it comes down to it, I can't be bothered.

What do you do that you know you really shouldn’t?
Light heart to spill the beans, your call.

I’ll start it out.

• I visit the tanning bed once a week or so in the winter. Nothing crazy. Mostly on keep some color, VitD and it makes me happy. You’d never know, my skin is still pretty fair.

• I’m guilty at times of turning up the water heater to HOT and taking the longest shower ever. Ok. This is a weekly thing. And! I’ll drink a beer or glass of wine while partaking in this steamy heaven.

• In the winter, I’ll open a window a little bit for some fresh air while it’s 20F out and the heat is on. I like the fresh air.

That’s all I’m willing to confess to at the moment.

Yeah, im pretty spontaneous but I like to plan a vacation or two in advance. Occasionally I'll even go so far as to make dinner reservations. But I would not say I'm a planner.

I am a regular at the deli counter. I know there's nothing healthy there, but I love a good sandwich, so I still buy all the deli meats. I share some streaming accounts with a friend, split the cost and such. I know, I'm freaking reckless.

What do you do that you know you really shouldn’t?

I am too much of a crotch watcher. It's harmless, I know, but it's a habit I started ages ago and just can't shake.

I bite my nails from time to time. It used to be way worse but I've managed to calm that habit down.

I smell almost everything. It can be a bit disturbing to watch and experience first hand

I'm also fond of a really hot "buzzed" shower. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
