We've seen a poll of internet folks claiming to be Americans, equally divided over the topic. How does our internet community compare?

As much as I dislike Trump, I am not sure there are grounds to impeach him yet. All the groups that are looking into his actions need to finish their jobs first. I would love to have him out of the office, but I definitely don't want Pence in it. I am afraid that Pence would be more effective in getting what he wants accomplished.

"Grounds for impeachment" (indictment) are whatever the House decides. Investigations revealing massive financial and political criminality won't provoke action unless allied congresscritters feel their own jobs (and liberty) imperiled.

Quite. And he's feared by much of the establishment, too. Pence is Tromp's shield against assassination.

Honestly, i don't get where all this animosity towards trump is coming from. I mean where were the questions when Obama illegally passed obamacare?

The voters of the US elected President Trump.

They'll have to wait until the end of his term of office to decide whether to reelect him, judging him on his record by then.

Will they have a credible alternative to vote for?

*Shakes magic 8-ball* it reads "probably not"

Not if he commits impeachable offenses, then they can remove him by peaceful, legal means. It's in the US Constitution

HA! if they couldn't remove a phildandering sob like Bill Clinton what makes you think they'll remove Trump? If they do manage to pull off that miracle it will cause such an uproar that will not be seen again in your lifetime.

Bunch of hayseeds shooting off their guns in their backyards, so what?

You couldn't do a thing to stop it.

I heard them. I don't know why you didn't. Were you avoiding the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Fox News, Breitbart, Drudge, Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter?

Our GOP friends who never accepted responsibility for Bush needlessly invading Iraq or crashing the economy will blame Obama and Clinton for every failure of the clown-in-chief.

Illegally? What? Since when? You do know that, just for an example, there were "only" 564 amendments offered on the ACA from both Democrats and Republicans right? It's kind of hard to pull off some illegal healthcare scheme when you're asking for input.

It wasn't illegal, but supporters of Obamacare lied like mad to get it passed. This fact is so well known and has been verified so many times it doesn't need any more proof. As I have always said, though: If lying were a crime, every politician of either party would be in prison.

Your poll question actually states a false option. "Impeachment" does not constitute removal from office. It is simply an indictment by the House of Representatives. Whether the allegations in the Bill of Impeachment are true, and whether they constitute actions justifying removal for office, is determined by trial before the Senate.

Indeed, two Presidents have been impeached. In neither case did the Senate remove them from office.

'Rump committed the offenses long ago and continues to do so. He is unfit for office and the Electors should have blocked him.

That said, if they take him out, what do we have? Yep, Mr,. 'I won't be alone in a room with a woman.' And if they dump him, then what Ryan?

There are no winners here. We can only go from terrible to atrocious.

I believe the Dems are hoping he will embarrass the GOP so badly that things will change significantly in '18 and '20.

I voted for impeachment. He's already discriminated against the Muslims and is now fighting to kick over 30 million off of their Obamacare plan. The man has no scruples whatsoever, and yet his followers are completely clueless as to why we hate him. Think about it, that's all you have to do is think. Collusion has been proven. He hasn't been proven of just shady things, but of immoral things. The asshole needs to go.

I voted for chocolate cream pie. It's more tangible. Impeachment-trial-conviction-removal won't happen anytime soon, if ever, and Pres Pence would be a competent nightmare, unlike Tromp. Life is short; eat dessert first. Give POTUS some too. That should hasten his upcoming stroke.

Pence is far more dangerous to any progressive liberal platform. Best the raving incompetent now in power than a tad more proficient man like Pence. Vote no to impeachment!

Thank you for the advice Rom, but GFY. I'd rather take Pense on as President, and tie Mitch to his ass, than put up with another 4 years of Trumpian chaos. That fucker might start another War!

Oh, fucking horrors!

"Who would have thought it was so easy to start a war ?"

-Emperor Carrot (please, please, please, I do not ever want to hear those words from his mouth. eeeeeeeeeee)

Pence will be horrible but the base won't be as rabid. I'll take sane over seriously psychologically unbalanced.
