Literotica--two two two sites in one

When I post my stories or pix on Literotica I'm in one place. I can check on them, read or see stuff by others. When I want to find out what is 'going on' I sort of have to 'log out' go to the Bulletin Board and navigate that. If I want to go back and read a story in the regular site I have to navigate to that. Shouldn't these two 'halves' of Lit be better integrated?

The two halves are seamless for me. I log in once, get to my home page, and from there can navigate to the Forums. To go back the other way, I go top right of the page and click on Control Panel. Occasionally, a forum page will say I'm logged out, but as soon as I click into a thread, I'm back in again.

Clear your cache, maybe?

I have to say that life got much better with the two halves for me when I turned on signatures in the forum, with most people including a link to their stories.

I wish that signatures on was the default.

You don't hafta log out. That's because the boards and story section are two different sites. It would be nice if there was a link to the story site in the menu. The story site has a link to here at the bottom of every page, ah dunno why this site doesn't link back.

Pull down the Explore menu from the top of this page and select "Categories" for the main story page, or "New" for the new list.

That kind of thing matters as to which flavor of the forum you use. It isn't on the classic (blue) version.

I'm on my phone, so I don't see it.
Using Chrome on Android, use the open book icon at the top of the page. It isn't labeled "Explore" but it gives you the same menu. Different phones, different browsers, you should still find it.

Like I said, you're using the classic blue version, as am I. The newer white version has other features and options.

Scroll to the very bottom of any page, Style Chooser and try Literotica Modern.

What @Five_Inch_Heels says. Compared to your screen, I have a different URL, and there's a bar between the top of the forum page and the browsers navigation window. That bar contains three icons: An open book, a pencil and paper, and a figure. These give the "Explore" menu, the "Start Creating Now!" window that lets you submit a story, and the control panel.

Those icons are your integration between the forum side and the story side.

AFAICT the reason why Lit has the forum-side and story-side divide is that the forums are powered by an off-the-shelf forum package, which wasn't built to be integrated with all the things that the story side needs to do. Having to treat it like two separate sites sometimes is the trade-off for not having to roll their own code for running a discussion forum.

I had no idea that there was a Literotica Modern. Thanks.

You might find these three posts helpful.
