(AP) - Adult internet entertainment provider Literotica hopes to fetch $12 to $14 per share in an initial public offering of its stock, according to documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Based on a mid-range price of $13 per share, the California based company expects to raise $63.3 million by selling 5.4 million shares in the IPO - one of the biggest filed by an Internet company during this year's dot-com downturn. Literotica said it might raise as much as $80.5 million when it first filed its IPO plans in September.

The SEC is kinda picky about things. I know the thread is a joke, but I wouldn't assume we'd hear about it here first.

Oh well, I bet Manu would like 60 mil to buy new toys.

Lit is generating millions of dollars in revenue, not to mention profits from this free site. Oh maybe it's the book sales. Get real.

It's a great site that has a lot of traffic which might make it an attractive purchase for some other dot com sometime, but that's about it in it's current form.

I still wish Manu and Laurel the best though.

I think you misread me, what I meant was that we'd hear from L&M as soon a legally possible ie, as and when it went public not before and if reread my post you'll notice I never used the word before anyplace.

Also I've noticed a lot of these "how much would you be willing to pay to use Lit" threads come up over the past few month's and without wishing to sound paranoid I believe that this is just the latest in a long line of attempt's to undermine confidence in the site and BB.
