Poke me in the eye with a sharp stick if this isn't an original idea and has been discussed before. I came up with the idea recently of writing a story called "Literotica Reunion". As the title suggests it would involve the familiar faces from the BB travelling to Laurel/Manu's beach house and interacting in lets say, a very physical way. I decided that it would be an interesting but arduos task involving trailing through the thousands of posts to try and establish a profile of likes and don't likes of each person. (What fun I could have with XX and helle!lol)
In the end I decided that it was all a bit too ambitous and also that as a relatively new author on this site a little presumptious.
But what would you all think to collaborating on this project and making this story into a a real epic. We could have a starter installment by one author and then take turns to write the next installment. This would enable all our varying styles and thoughts to combine and should be good fun.

So what do you say? Anyone up for setting up this little Millenium Project to celebrate this great site? Or is that a sharp stick I see before me?!!

Love,
Crystal

I think its a great idea! However, you won't mind if I just watch? Thats my style. A bit voyeristic. (I can't type for shit, please forgive all my typos)

My wife said I can read the menu but I can't order!

Crystal,

I think your concept is fantastic! Yeah, we go to Manu's beach house. Why does Laurel have to be there? If Manu can do what he says he can do when we spoke on the phone, this story could go on and on and on.

Another fun plot would be we go get XXplorher and put the cuffs on him and (of course we have a little fun with him on the way) drag him to Helle's house and make them kiss and make up.

I did a story last summer (before I even knew about Literotica) with my girlfriend (friend who is a girl) and two guys who coincidentally both have now been involved somewhat on Literotica. It was the most fun ever! We girls set up the story and the guys finished us off, if you get my drift. In fact, I'm going to dig that story out and submit it to Laurel (she'll need something to do since she won't be partying with us and Manu).

While the Interactive Stories appear to be total fun for everybody particating, it's a little too wild and crazy for me. I did post several episodes but I can't follow the plot (if there is one, other than everybody gets fucked and sucked) or maintain any sort of train of thought.

So I love your idea, Crystal, where one author starts it and then others take turns. Maybe we could have teams or something, two guys and two girls on each team, and make it like a contest. To make it even more clandestine, maybe we shouldn't know who the other authors are. We could have numbers or fake names (LOL!) or something.

I even like the name, Millenium Project. Something to do after the holidays when we are all starting to get bored and stir crazy. Well, I know I will be.

Crystal, you are right on the hot spot! After some others offer their input, maybe Laurel (since she'll have lots of free time on her hands since she won't be partying with us and Manu) can come up with something special for us for the new millenium.

of course you think it's fantastic... it involves yourselves. I remember a post sometime ago addressed to Laurel complaining that she plays favorites? And I know she hasn't even responded to this one yet... but jeez...who's gonna want to read a story about all the writers going to the web masters house for a weekend? But then again... who would want to read about cheerleaders and assorted animals... what do I know?

Miranda - not quite sure what your final conclusion was there so I think I'll just ignore it.
Deborah - I'm, well pleased that you like the idea, I was beginning to fear that it was a no go! Love the idea of anonymity - could be quite a turn on.
As for XX, well he's just going to have to run around the beach house trying to shower everyone with his "gift to women'!
Keep the posts coming - if enough people like the idea, then who knows it might just happen!

Miranda - I don't think Crystal mentioned authors specifically. In fact, the words she used were "familiar faces on the BB", which includes yourself (should you want to participate, of course) and anyone who wants else to get involved.

I think it's a fun idea. I love chain stories, especially when the people involved are the sort who'll contribute more than two lines of type. I even like the name. The way I'd see it, we'd have to get a list together of those who want to contribute a chapter. Crystal can start it off, since it's her baby. We'd decide the order of the other writers through a random drawing of some sort. We set a start date and a time frame within which each author has to finish their section - 2 days, 4 days, whatever you guys think is fair. I'll set up a category for it on the site in the story index. It'll be titled "The Millenium Project" or whatever. As each part is submitted, it will be posted for everyone to read.

Once we get all the specifics of the project together, anyone interested in participating can send me an email and I'll put them on the list. How does that sound, kids? Let's get this party started!

Sounds like a great idea!!

Count me in! I admit I don't really know too much about most of you here but it sounds like a blast!!

Mmmmn! Beach house! Mmmmn!

You don't have to know anyone here too well... The idea is that we'll get to know YOU better. You can choose to interact with others from the BB (pick someone who interests you, do a "search" for their posts, get to know 'em) and through your "interactions" we'll get a sense of who you are. In the process, we'll all get to know each other better. I'd encourage the "lurkers" and the more quiet of you out there to get involved - this way, we can get to know you better through your writing.

These submissions don't have to be great art. Just put a little time & effort, and lots of personality into them. You'll be picking up from where the author before you left off... it'll be interesting to see where you all take this!

Anyone who is interested in writing a section of the Literotica Millenium Project send an email to millenium@literotica.com. Everyone - I repeat, everyone - is invited to be a part of this, so long as you're willing to put a little effort into the mix (no sending "Then I fucked her" and considering that your contribution, know what I mean?). We'll get this going and figure out the specifics as it forms. Any comments/questions/suggestions are very much appreciated on this thread.

Great idea, Crystal! This is going to be a lot of fun...

I doubt that Crystal would be willing to include me in her little get away nor would I be too thrilled to join... I think she had certain people in mind already... However, it's a very cute idea if nothing else.

Miranda - it may be Crystal's idea, but it's everyone's project. If you decide not to be involved, that's fine - there's no pressure. Just be aware that you're making the choice - no one is excluding you.

So far, HSWriter, Southernhelle, and Butterfly have emailed me saying they'd like to contribute. Deborah and Crystal are in, and I'm definitely in. Anyone else interested may email me at millenium@literotica.com and/or post here...

Hey Miranda just jump in with both feet and join in. I don't have any stories posted (Yet) and I thought this might give me the courage to start. I think this is going to be(oops on typos) fun and very interesting to read who knows where it is going to go.
Crystal..Great idea and thanks for thinking it up as Laurel states I'm in and it is going to be interesting to do and read.

I'm willing to join you all on this little project....

What I want to know is:

Are each of the contributing authors going to be able to see what comes before their chapter?

Is this going to be submitted as the chapters come in or as a whole?

When the chapters are put up on the webpage will they be arranged alphabetically or chronologically?

I'm eager to join (but I'm much to shy to go first! If I can make a request I'd like to be somewhere in the middle.) heehee!

K

Oh! By the way...

Crystal, et al...

If you are interested in what a similar idea looks like by other erotica authors (those from a.s.s.) you might want to check out this link Fantasy Train

A story about the good people here at Literotica? I've heard worse ideas.

1.Are each of the contributing authors going to be able to see what comes before
their chapter?

Yes. A chapter will be posted, I'll email the next in line so they know it's up, and then
they'll have a certain number of days (which you guys will have to decide - enough to
write a piece, but not so much time that this project stretches into 2002) to read the
previous chapter & submit their piece. At least, that's how I see it. If I'm off track
here, Crystal, please let me know...

2.Is this going to be submitted as the chapters come in or as a whole?
I will create a category on the Story page called the Millenium Project. Each chapter
will be posted in there as it comes in - everyone can watch the story unfold. Pretty
f**king cool, eh?

3.When the chapters are put up on the webpage will they be arranged
alphabetically or chronologically?

Chronologically - that is, in order of submission.

As far as the order of the authors, Crystal will be the one to launch this puppy. It's
only fair - it's her idea and all that. Author order after Crystal will be determined by
random drawing. So, no pressure, SpecialK!

And congrats on membership status! I'll send the Viva towels over asap.

Yo Rodrigo my man - I'm hoping that positive response means we can count on you to give a little up? For the story, I mean...

Wow, I'm really pleased that you guys like the idea and am very impressed at the speed you organised it. Me first, mm, that's a little scary but I'd love to give it a go. Anyone who has read my stories (especially Missing Julia) will know that I'm a little softcore in my writing and tend to linger over setting the scene. This might be alright in this instance. I can write a short piece introducing the story and then let all you hardcore writers get it going in style!
I will try to submit the first installment on Monday 20th December. After that I'm on holiday for two weeks and won't have access to a computer (how will I cope!) so don't think I've given up on the idea when I don't give any feedback.
Miranda - please join in. I truthfully meant "familiar faces from the BB" and not authors specifically. If I was a little rude to you it was only because you seemed to think it was a terrible idea and that I was on some sort of ego trip or something. So anyway, please join in 'cos the more the merrier.
Right I'd better start work on the first part. God, working to deadlines - like being at university again!

Love,
Crystal

All right then... If Crystal's submitting her piece on the 20th, then let's set a deadline of the 16th for participants to commit. Anyone who wants to write a bit of this needs to let me know before then so I can get the list together, figure out order of authors, and post the list for everyone. If you wanna get involved, email me & let me know!

So, in summary: Crystal will submit the first part of our chain story on Dec. 20th. All those who've told me they want to write a piece will have their names drawn at random and ordered in a list behind Crystal. As soon as I post Crystal's bit, I'll email the next author in line and he or she will have 4 days in which to read Crystal's part and write the next chapter. They'll then submit their piece, and the process will complete itself till the last person writes a piece.

As soon as I get Crystal's bit, I'll set up a "Millenium Project" category alongside the other "Erotic Couplings", etc. categories. I will post her piece in their and, as they come in, post the others below hers so they form a chronological line. You readers can start at the top and work your way down through the submissions.

So far, here's who's said they wanna do it:

Crystal
Deborah
Southernhelle
HSWriter
Butterfly
SpecialK
Laurel

If I'm missing anyone, tell me! Like I said, the deadline is December 16 for people to get involved as writers on this project. This is a fun thing - we're not talking War & Peace-type stuff here, so don't be afraid to get involved. Once we start this we won't be able to add authors, so if you are even a little interested then email me soon!

Crystal, it was a wonderful idea. Your delicate style of story telling is perfect for starting this out. No doubt, we'll begin with two decorous young ladies exciting each other by sipping creme de menthe.
wink.gif
Next, things will heat up with oysters on the half shell. By the time some others on the board have finished, we'll be reading about the most imaginative uses for lobsters and electric eels ever devised!

I too hesitated to join, since I don't really know anyone. But if this is just all in fun, I'm game. Laurel, I'm in...on the story scheme, that is.
smile.gif

This sounds like fun. I would like to participate in this as well.

This may turn out to be the greatest erotic story ever written. That's just what I think, though...

Way too cool! This is getting better by the post. Now, there are some names missing from this list, and you know who you are... kick down, guys and girls!

Well that's nine people so far - not bad going! Just a thought, do you think we should set limitations as to the length of each installment, maybe lets say, one page? Tell me what you think. Also I realise that I have an unfair advantage of having 10 days to do my piece whereas everyone else will only 4. Sorry about that!
Love,
Crystal

Crystal, what's up with the one page? You got until Dec. 20 and you want to write one page? I think the episodes should be at least one page and no limit on the length. If somebody really gets the flow going we don't want to stop the squirting. LOL!

I went and read your stories, Crystal, and I thought they were excellent (maybe a little too short!!). Your story Missing Julia and the subject of girls playing with girls, read an interesting piece in yesterday's USA TODAY. Remember Laurel's brief thread on Ally McBeal? Well, this critic on page D-1 says the worst episode was the lesbian kiss of Nov. 1 and continues, "Ling and Ally have a lesbian flirtation (Nov. 1). This offensive misstep is a prime illustration of the way Ally has been held hostage this season by a series of increasingly bizarre, male-oriented sexual fixations." Say what???

OK, I have a very serious and important question regarding the Millenium Project. Now, we are going to southern California where it is warm, 'er I mean HOT!!!, right? I'll be travelling from NW PA and Crystal from the U.K. and SpecialK from Canada, etc., places where you need a coat. So, do we pack a bikini or is the beach topless?

Which reminds me. Since Crystal has the most important task of starting off the story, I think maybe we should all give her ideas. Just stuff she can work with if she so chooses.

Here's one. The girls show up first and nobody is home. We decide to go for a swim. We bury ourselves in the sand and take a nap. Nothing is showing but our faces and our nipples. Manu comes home and finds us. Manu, being addicted to the movie Splash like some on this board are addicted to Caddyshack, calls all the media for the uncovering of the mermaids. Geraldo Riveria decides to do a live special, and when the sand comes off, mumbles in shock, "Yeah, that's fish, but ..."

Oh my God - now I'm scared! I think your imagination is way more advanced than mine deborah! I tell you what though, I can't wait to read your installment! As you said - my stories are too short (its cos I right them all in one go while I'm at work - tut, tut, naughty girl!) which is probably why I suggested one page. Of course you are right, there shouldn't be any limitations, just please don't get cross if mine is the shortest!
Love,
Crystal

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

Crystal - your stories aren't too short! They're the length they needed to be to tell the tale. What's the Lincoln quote about the proper length of man's legs? They should be long enough to touch the ground - something like that.

Yeah, no length restrictions. Some people are gonna write novels, and others will do a page. We're all gonna write complete chapters, so as long as each piece is readable and fun a length restriction is unnecessary.

And remember - this is not a competition! There are no Viva towels for the one who writes Best Chapter or whatever the hell. We're all doing our bit, and each piece will be wonderful.
