Hello hello! Sirhugs inspired this thread... In the infamous "who do you want to fuck" thread, he asked if we had any stories developed from the most recent flirting that happens there.

I think it would be cool if "we" (we being the authors who post to this board frequently, and new authors who come here are welcome!) wrote up a chain story about an orgy we'd have if we all met up in person. I think it would be cool if we actually used our Lit screen names as well... Either the whole name or an abbreviated version (IE: many call me Eve instead of Hallowed Eve, etc.).

Anyone else like this idea? I have NO deadlines or a plot beyond the Lit authors meeting for sex yet. Just want to know if anyone else likes this idea first.

***Just to let people know, Tex is getting ready for his basic training now, and SEV and Sal both asked to remain closer to the end of our chain. That means we have holes starting with Chapter Eight. So, Mr. Capt and I have been talking in IMs a bit and it came to my attention that some of *us* certainly cannot write a story in one week's time (and that's what Lit suggests to have between submissions!), so some of us may be writing (not submitting) our chapters at the same time! To save confussion, it donned on me that maybe some characters would sneak off to a separate room or the author would be careful how they described their scene so we don't have odd overlaps in the chapters!! Unless, of course, we do set deadlines for everyone on submitting... Like maybe 2 or 3 weeks?


Anyway, let's brainstorm and figure some things out!

With winter being close to over (knock on wood), and a lot of us not being geographically close maybe we should set the scene that we all were flying out to a tropical place to meet at some beautiful spa/resort?

Back to plotting and the like...

I'm wondering... Would it seem like a "waste" of chapters if each author who plans to join this chain wrote up their departure and/or arrival to the resort as their first submission? That way it does give each author a bit more freedom during their first submission. Or, should we jump right into a more "structured" (haha!) plot for us all to follow? I've never "ran" a chain story thread before, so I'm a newbie here!

Damn, you're fine! Hope you're able to write something up as well. Capt and I were chatting in IMs for a bit, and like I told him I doubt we'll have too much of a plot here. Certainly nothing complicated. Just net friends meet and hook up. 750 words is Lit's minimum and certainly not hard to accomplish even in the "short" short stories. Though Lit suggests only having a week's time between submissions I think we should make it 2 or even 3 for our chain. Any thoughts anyone?
