Hi Fellow Lit Maniacs-
Sorry about the delay in posting a message regarding this issue. Apparently, Big Mail Box, the company who has hosted the free Literotica.org email addresses since 1999 is closing down their service. This means, as we understand it, that all Literotica.org accounts will be shut down in early July.
We recommend that you immediately log into your account and download all of your mail stored with Big Mail Box. If you wait until the last minute, there is no telling if you might lose your emailed stored there.
We are very sorry for this issue. We had no idea this was coming or we would have given you more advanced notice. We are currently working on trying to find a suitable replacement. However, even once we find another service, we are not sure if there will be a way to transfer the accounts from Big Mail Box to the new service. We tried to login to our webmaster admin account at Big Mail Box today and were unable to login for some reason. We would need to have access to the data at Big Mail Box to transfer that data. We will ask them for help, but again, there are no guarantees at this point.
In the meantime, we can definitely recommend Gmail. It may not be as exciting as Literotica.org, but the free mail system over there is pretty nice and they let you store huge amounts of data.
Again, please download all of your important mail right away to be safe.
