While surfing onto a link that is not loaded or typed in correctly ,Literotica becomes the error page. The words "Opps you are on the wrong page."How and why did Literotica become my error page?

I've heard of people setting Literotica as their homepage, but never as their error page. :) I have no idea how that's done or undone, but if you do find out how that happened, feel free to email me so that I can help people if it ever happens again.

It's a sign. You don't belong to the night... you belong HERE!!!!!

Don't do it! Laurel's gonna write a lit virus once she finds out your secret then everybody's error page will be lit and the server will crash and I'll be very angry with you.

Damn I got at least 20 more posts to go

before I get a picture logo. I'm sorry I don't make this my home page and live here. I usually come in to check to see if any new stories are listed in my favorites genres, message a few people then go. I am working on a few stories with another writer. They still have not posted my last work on the other site like they were supposed to. I sent some email submissions to a coupld of volunteer editors, but that was aboyt 4 days ago.

Literotica and other sites have a custom "404 Error page." Your system is apparently configured to not reload pages if they're already in memory/temporary internet files. The custom files are set so they load in place of the standard error page.

Since the Lit 404 error is the most recent error page loaded, it continues to display until it gets purged fromthe Temporary internet files or another custom page overrides your browser settings again.

You sure do. What do you suggest I do? Empty out my browser cache or reconfigure my browser settings?
BTW How come you know so much?

Clearing your browser cache/ deleting your temporary internet files should clear it up. Simply rebooting your machine might do it.

You can check your browser settings in IE5 at Tools-> Internet Options -- click the "settings" button for Temporary internet files. That's where you'll find the setting for when your browser reloads a page.

PS: I'm a compulsive problem solver who actually reads directions and help files. I also have a mind that seems to trap trivial details without getting cluttered with important things.
