Is there a way here to download a story as one file I can upload to my kindle?
Currently all I do is copy and paste each page to MS Word then upload to my kindle. Kind of becomming tedious.

Suggestions?

Really? I thought the Kindle was a little closed, drm-riddled system for proprietary Amazon ebooks only. Apparently not.

Lick, I posed your question to Laurel, In case you do not know her, She and Manu run this crazy place, below is her response.

Part of the benefit for authors posting to Literotica is the amount of feedback and voting they receive. Though we understand it may be more convenient for some readers to download stories for their personal viewing later, it defeats the purpose of the site, as we have found offline readers are far, far less likely to vote or give public or private feedback. So for this reason, we have no plans to enable offline story reading.

Looks like copy / paste dude

:( Oh well . . . I understand where they're coming from, so I guess, it's copy and paste for me. Thanks do for posting the question to the powers that be.

 No not really. You can email almost all file types to your email address and amazon reformats the file into the native kindle format, or you can do it yourself with Mobipocket.

Sure beats carrying books with you.

Be cool Lick! and by the way web based readers are the next big thing. Just wait till the large newspaper congloms start using them!
PEACE

I came across this old thread while search for same question. For what it's worth, I've now started using Readability (available as an extension to most browsers) to send stories to Kindle. It's not 100% reliable, but I suspect that's because the quality of the html postings to Lit site is variable. Look out for:
1) Missing pages - anthing 3 pages or under works nearly all the time, but any more pages sometimes arrive and sometimes dont. I had one 4-page story which only sent pg1-3. When I went to pg2 and re-sent I got pg2,4,3 in that order - quite weird.
2) Story titles are occaisionally missing and Authors are not very reliable - both replaced with "literotica.com" on my kindle.
Have Fun.
