Literotica "E" stories

I was curious about something and wanted to make an observation about what I'm seeing, and wondering then if I'm the only one.

I have now been honored with four "E" stories. And I don't mind saying its a thrill and very exciting when I see one placed next to one of the stories I have written. (Thanks literotica!)

But what I'm curious about...and maybe its only me, but those stories which I have written and have enjoyed writing, don't seem to do nearly as well as the others which are more slated towards the "norm" of what I am seeing posted here.

I'm really not sure why that is. Believe me, I really do feel honored when I see an "E" placed next to one of my stories. And I also tend to read all the other "E" stories first, and in most instances, actually enjoy reading them above and beyond many of the others.

But again...I just think its sort of interesting that none of my "E" stories do anywhere near as well as some of my others.

So just curious........anyone else seeing the same thing I am?

"E" stories are stories we just happen to enjoy. Nothing more, nothing less. If you're worried that the "E" affects your score, email me and let me know and I'll make sure not to "E" your stories at your request.

Heavens no Laurel! I appreciate it when I get an "E" for a story....those actually mean more to me than a high score.

Point is....I appreciate "your" opinion that its good enough to even get an "E"...

So don't you dare do that! <wink>

I've been wondering about the "E" stories myself, as I also tend to read those first, and generally like them better than some of the other stories. I know that the E stands for "editor's pick", but is that just you, Laurel? Or do you have some help with choosing these stories, maybe the Literotica volunteer editors? If so, I will definitely volunteer to be an editor! Everyone always tells me I'd make an excellent critic, and I love to read erotica!

I was curious....I noted with a sense of honor that my first story, "After the Concert" had received an H. (Thank you!) However, I also noticed that H's and E's do not transfer to the Top Story lists or the Author's Page. Is there something you could do to make that happen?
