Literotica awards are up! Before/during/after you vote, a question...?

I was going to ask this on the general board, but I already know the reply.

We have stories??

When you vote for things like this, do you actually read the stories before you vote or do you just click on a name that's either familiar or your buddy? The question rephrased, do you vote for a friend or do you read them all so you can vote for what you think is the best?

I usually click on a story title form the list, quickly press ALT-F-A-ENTER and then BACKSPACE.I think "I'll vote after I've read it"
Thing is, I usally *read:always* read it and i'm usually off-line while reading so I dont feel like connecting just to vote.

I always read,then vote. I know how frustrating it is to spend some time writing a story,tweaking it,posting it and not having any votes on it. So whether I like the story or not, I vote.
