It seems I'm on the wrong site for my writing. So I was wondering if there are any sites whose main erotica focus isn't incest? And also has volunteer editors.

Incest is the most read category here, but the site has a lot of well read categories.
there are people who will help you edit here, but you need to ask on the forums, the volunteer editor service here has been badly broken for a long time.
But if you want to look around that's up to you, but I don't know that its ethical to mention other sites on the forum.
Whilst incest is the biggest single category (25% of stories, something of that order) it's not the only category. Submit stories into the other categories and you'll still get plenty of readers - do the maths, there's still the other 75%.It seems I'm on the wrong site for my writing. What exactly makes you think you're in the wrong place?
Incest is the most popular category, but if you put aside Incest you'll see that other categories of stories at Literotica probably get more readers than they do at other Sites. The readership here is huge and varied. There are plenty of authors who help other authors edit their stories, or do beta readings for them. You just have to hang around and establish contacts with them.
I published a story about anal sex a few days ago and it has over 15,000 views already. I can't think of any other Sites off the top of my head where I'd do better than that.

I still want to know where the OP came up with that. What is that opinion based on?
The numbers. Incest isn't the "main focus" of the Site, but it's by far the most popular category of stories. Incest stories receive far more views than any other type of story at Literotica. It's not close.
But the "ick" factor is too much for me.

Sort of interesting timing on this article. Not sure where else to put it:

Something that's been talked about here and often enters my head when trying to figure out if a story could even be feasible or not.

As someone who's never written a porn story without "happy incest" in it, somewhere, let me just say...
I don't believe in it, either.
If you look hard enough online (and by look hard enough, I mean spend forty-seven seconds Googling) you can find anecdotal stories of adult incestuous couples apparently being satisfied with their relationships. But evidence other than such self-presentation is scant, and we all know how honest people can be about their awesome lives online.
And those stories aren't characteristic. Incest involves physical and emotional abuse, betrayal of trust, bullying, inequality of power, shame. And all of that, before getting to the really icky and awful parts.
I have my own ideas about what makes the sexual fantasy of the practice so appealing to so many people, what the components of it are. I don't think many people who get off on it really want to practice it or would be comfortable with someone who did.
But I admit that the evidence of reader feedback does not really support my opinions on the subject all that well.![]()
Has anyone else noticed the trend of OP's posting quarries on the site only to disappear and never again be heard from? There are at least two current threads where a poster ask for help with this thing or that, and never answers questions put them, never thanks anyone, and never say, sorry I fingered her out on my own. I mean figured it out on my own.
It's nothing new. A lot of people seem to have one thing to say or one thing to ask, and no interest in social exchange.
There are also people who lurk on the forum and rarely or never get around to posting a thought.
