Lit Volunteer Editor Interface

Hello,

I've been having an issue where I don't think my email is being sent out to a volunteer editor. I check the box to receive a copy of the email, and I don't receive anything.

It has worked for me once or twice (where I've gotten the email) and the editor contacted me but most of the time, I don't get the duplicate email, and I don't hear from the volunteer editor I contacted.

I'm wondering if there's an issue with contact requests actually being delivered to volunteer editors.

On one occasion, I saw a volunteer editor on the forum that I hadn't heard back from, so I sent him a PM to ask if he received my request and he said he hadn't received anything. So we swapped emails and he edited my chapter.

Can the interface be looked at to see if there is an issue that is keeping contact requests from being sent out?

Hi. You may have more luck looking for an editor in the Editor's Forum in the bulletin board. If I remember correctly, a while back it was stated that the Editor's link on the main story side of the site was flawed and rather outdated.

I’ve put a couple of posts there too, and one time it worked. I just think the right editors (for my story) aren’t reading that forum, I don't have the kind of story they want to edit, or editors are too loaded down with other requests.
