Lit Travelers

Apparently this thread was a bit, um, misconstrued on another board. Perhaps it will have more relevance here. Thank you for my Lit friends who encouraged this more thread appropriate board. xoxo K


I recently completed a couple trips to various locales across the US. I thought afterward how nice it would have been had I been able to arrange a meet up with a local Lister or two, or a fellow traveler, BEFORE I hit town and the sand began to flow through the hour glass.

So, with that in mind. I am starting a thread for those folks who are traveling. If others are similarly situated or local and wish to meet for coffee or a drink (at a public spot with expectation predetermined) and put a face with an avatar, I think it would be great to do so.

In the mean time, I'll be searching for additional reasons to get back to DC!

Your travel dates
Your availability while there
Your interest in meeting other men/women

I guess if you can just pack up and leave a thread I can pack my stuff and come too.
We actually PM'd and made three friends from that thread.
Posting stories and bull shiting is fun. But actually meeting some of the faces behind the avatars can be exciting too.

We like the basic idea. We've done it on motorcycle and old car forums. Yes mostly different but a nice way to just meet members at a restaurant or in public.

We get to Orlando often and don't care if you are male, female, or a combination..

I can't see giving out info on these threads.
Already PM'd three members explaining. Nothing wrong with coffee, pizza, or a drink if someone is nearby.
In today's world it might be the best first time meeting.
We used to travel a lot and have never met a bad person. Of course we've never met some of these weirdos on Lit either.
So as mature weirdos we like the idea.
