we're having to squeeze quite a bit in the one trip as she has quite a few friends she hasn't seen and we're be staying with her parents either in toronto or their holiday home

but we're still wanting to have some time for ourselves while we're there

Well, the good thing about Canada is how close we all live to each other, so Ottawa is just down the street from Toronto !

In fact....I think you could skate there!

i've been to canada before but i didn't see so much of it except toronto (which i really liked) so should be seeing a bit more of it this time


her friend lives in vancouver (i think its vancouver i might be getting mixed up) so we're be going there too

Toronto's a great town, but it's also in many ways anomolous in terms of experiencing Canada...it's big, fast, crowded, noisy and multicultural by comparison to most other places here.

Vancouver, Calgary, Winnepeg, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Halifax are the seven main market centers in the country in terms of seeing our regions and their flavours.

Vancouver is lovely. You'll love it, I'm sure. And you can almost always get cheap weekends in Hawaii from there!
