I use open office, so these settings may not work in word etc...

I originally posted measurements for a different template for something else. I have corrected them below. Sorry for any confusion.

If you set your page size to
Width 6.35"
Height 52.50"

Set your Top, left and Bottom margins set to 0.79"
Set the right margin to 0.91"

Use Arial 9 point to make this work. It's the default for Lit.

I tested by copying several full pages of lit text and the last word on each line matched, as did the page breaks. This way you can see how your story will be layed out on Lit.

It's not perfect but the closest I could get.

I did this because I have seen stories on here where one or two words are on the last page. This should help you avoid that.

Sal.

I hope some of you will find this helpful.

I use LibreOffice, which is still very similar to OO, and tried your settings to see what you're talking about. How is that similar to Lits's layout? Are you talking about the website, or the Android App?

And it really doesn't matter as the new story page will be customizable by the user. Font, Font Size, etc.

Also the Lit App will be rewritten sometime in the future.

Plus the user can increase or decrease the size of the browser page at will.

I was looking at the wrong document. I just fixed the sizes. Sorry for the confusion.

This is for the website. Does anyone uuse the app, IMO it sucks. Why use the app when you can use the mobile site with all features.

Still doesn't matter as everyone can change things to whatever they want. You may like it one way and I another. What does it matter if you have a template that makes it look like the default page layout on the website?

As for the lit app, it's quick and easy to use. I like the fact it strips out all the extraneous stuff.
