Lit Needs A Welcome Mat

Maybe the Editor thread is not the place for this. But I count myself as one, and seeing as there really is no place at all... here it falls.

Am I being silly? Why not a Welcome Mat. A place to scrub the feet clean in order to take on new ideas, new identities, and be absorbed into a new, loving on-line community?

And when newbies log in they receive kind and supportive criticism, are guided to mentors suited to their tendencies (anal to the left, ships and chains turn right here...)

I may be a dreamer , but if you think this is a welcome mat, you're so very wrong. Not laying blame, just illuminating the truth.

Don't worry, sweetie. The feud was more than a year ago and since then there hasn't been anything stronger that good will and sentiments from anybody.

Was having a very bad day indeed and vented. Originally I was going to avoid the forum, then remembered the old addage "If you get bucked off a horse, spread your legs and let him kick you in the nuts", or something like that. I don't know, I don't ride horses, maybe for good reason.
