Lit homepage?

I've noticed that some members have their own members page, such as http://www.literotica.com/stories/memberpage.php?uid=11111. Is this a feature available to everyone, or do I have to have submitted a story to have a homepage?

I used up my "One wrong thing per year" already and I'd hate to be dipping into next year's supply but.....I'm gonna take a leap and say it's an author's profile so I guess you have to submit a story. Correct me if I'm wrong.

On the Story main page, if you scroll down, you will find a feature called Search Members. If someone filled out a profile when they signed up for Lit, it should be rather easy to find them. (I punched in your screen name in the search and got the profile page above.)

You do not have to be an author to have a profile page at Lit. You merely have to be a member! If you have anything distinctive, like a pic or list of your fetishes, it will be easier for you to stand out in a search.

Also, if ever you submitted a story or poem, this page automatically gets updated for you by Lit!

The site member/author pages use the same database as the BB. As soon as you registered on the BB, you also gained a member page. (Although it might not show up until after the midnight maintenance cycle runs the day you registered.)

Likewise, if you register as a site member/author under a name other than the one you use on the BB, that name also has a BB account.

The only place you are not automatically added is Live Chat from the Story Index page. The user databasse there is not compatible with the BB software or site scripts.

That location is a relic of the days before Literotica changed to a script based format. At one time, the member pages were truly author's pages and an author neded to have at least three stories posted before Laurel would take the time to build the page manually. Since the scripts were introduced, the pages are built automatically when you register.
