Lit get-togetether at the MLA?

I am willing to bet that I am not the only literotician who will be attending the MLA this December. I wonder, though, if I'm the only one who would be willing to get a group together somewhere far from the conference hotels for some drinks and hot talk? What do you say, my fellow academics? Would there be both men and women who would be game for mixing work with fun?

By the way, the "MLA" is a big academic conference, so if you've never heard of it, you really would have no interest in attending it. Believe me!

This thread title is almost as good as the "anal, family, pets" posted on this forum recently.

I am not a habitue of the MLA, so I'll have to pass. If this works out, though, I challenge y'all to post and tell the rest of us about it.
