I’ve been writing and writing about a relationship that took place here. My goal was to wrap my head around how it all went down, but I think I may be able to edit this and have a solid story. Obviously usernames would need to be changed before submitting. Any ideas on how it might be received? Nothing negative about the site.

I just wrote one for the April Fool's contest which featured a lit author(made up handle of course) who has a thing for his sister and starts writing stories here about her to get his fantasies out of his head.

Then sis finds them...

But throughout the story I reference literotica, have fake comments left on this stories and feedback and trolling and have a little fun with the whole writing experience here

It went over pretty well

My Oggbashan inspired story Moving to the suburbs has one of the characters writing about her lesbian threesome with her friends from Uni and publishing it on Lit. I actually registered her Lit name here so no one would steal it. :D

What's the title?

You're a good writer, I look forward to reading it.

Tales of my Slutty Sister

https://literotica.com/s/tales-of-my-slutty-sister

I had fun with it...the story goes from him writing about sex with his ditzy always in trouble sister who he blackmails into sex every time she does something stupid...

To his reality where his sister is a boss at everything she does and he's the one always in trouble and feels like a loser.

If it's a good story, it will be well received.

Just make sure you change the facts enough that you are not exposing anything private about a real person or putting a real person in a bad light. Or get that person's permission.

I’m going to check it out!

Going to read it! And that’s a great idea about registering the account. I would have definitely regretted not thinking of that.

Yes, this is the tricky and necessary part.

I've got a self-referential story here that blurs an established character with the "writer" and considers what might happen if a reader contacted him/me. Fact blurs with fiction and how is anyone to know where one stops and the other starts? Don't overthink it - once it's in words, it's only a story.
