Why do people feel the need to have a list of fetish interests on their pages, when there is no actual definition for the actual activity that would take place?

Meaning, if you list "watching my submissive wear leather", for YOU that can mean a leather corset or one of those cupless leather strap bras.

While a POTENTIAL submissive would see that and think "kinky fucker wants me to wear a 2,000$ leather body suit. fuck that shit"

Are you talking about profiles on Lit or somewhere else? Here people mostly connect by writing, so the cost of imaginary suite does not really matter. What matters is the interest in the topic - for the life of me I could not describe in any passible detailes ANY learher clothes, just because it is totally NOT my thing. But for the owner of a leather corset this probably will work.

Don’t like it?
Skip over that person.

Don't bite his head off, he is just asking why, what is the reason to do so. The desire to understand things does not automatically means the regection of said things.

(O, my, Annie, what are you doing? Tnis is not the debate part of your philosophy 101 class. Stop already!)

Don’t bite mine off. My philosophy is, if you don’t like it, move on.
I graduated. I’m old.
Get off my lawn.

gosh no one seems to get it....

listing a fetish your into is ok, but how can actually using it as a means of determining interest in a potential partner be useful in anyway....

yes I wasn't talking here... about fetlife. runs a user selected list of sexual interests you can put on a profile.

Problem is that everyone has their own idea of what each thing is, and how its done.

How many times have you heard "over the knee spanking" and thought of standard Japanese school girl uniform with skirt lifted over the waist and panties down around the ankles?

when someone else can imagine, fully naked, or still wearing panties? and so forth.

Or simpler example, list "having submissive wear leather collar". most of the money grubbing bitches instantly think 500$ rhine stone studded posture collar. while you and sane girls think simple dog collar?

Let's see here...

I am a sensualist
I like primal-as prey ofc
Pretending to get impregnated is hot
Hair pulling
Breath play

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

A list should have its use in opening dialogue between interested individuals or groups.

That should then be used for refinement of the individual's definition.

Sorry if you didn't do that and got burned.

It's a starting off point. Something to give you a reason to message the person listing those things and ask what they mean with collars, if they indeed want the $500 one or are good with something else.

It's a way to tell in a very general way and on a very superficial level about the things that interest you and get you off. It's not a tool you can use alone to find someone who thinks exactly like you, you will still need to talk things over. But it's something that can tell a little about which way a person might lean.

It is so important to set boundaries in any kind of relationship. Contract exist for a reason, folks.

I detect a hint of the GB here.

Lists, hmmm, surely it is if two people have a connection, which takes communication.

Surely if you make any list you will find other things to add on to it,things you forgotten
