Thanks for the responses. I find such lists of random collections to be fascinating about those of us here.

1. My Grandfather's pocket watch. The Grandfather in question died shortly after the first moon landing, so I never met him, but he did have a personalised watch, which now tells me the time when I'm sitting here.

2. An ammonite, preserved in pyrite. I found it myself in a rock layer in which no ammonites had ever been previously found.

3. An aluminium sharpener that I have never used. It was given to me by the girl I had a crush on through most of my adolescence.

4. My desk tidy. I made it myself out of parts from my old computer. It doesn't look as bad as it sounds. In fact it is no longer unique since it was copied by one of my housemates.

5. A hotel bill with the signatures of the entire 1998 Wigan Rugby League team. Obviously there's a story.

That's it actually, the rest isn't unique. Computer, phone, printer, cds, books paperwork, stationary and general clutter.

2) My youngest's art work, a painting with lovely blues and greens.

3) Too many books: poetry, dictionary, multi-cultural reference texts, inspirational/quotes

4) 3 dimensional, African motif, black and white art my mother framed for me.

5) Print, gift from friend.

Peace,
