Out of those 44 new people Silly and Jazz Man are still here and testing our wits. Ever wonder where the other 42 are. They drifted in and back out on a day that most of us will never forget.

I wanted someone to talk to, and oddly enough, I wanted someone I could talk with about something other than the kamikaze runs, which was the only thing anyone could talk about. I wanted to stop exposing myself to it, and all my regular outlets were cut off to me.

yet, quite frankly... I doubt seriously that I even thought about the net 1 yr ago today, much less signed on. And even if I did, I'd probably have been doing so in a dazed-n-confused state of mind.

I wish I knew about Lit then. I was one month into a new town, I knew nobody and my husband was traveling (in NYC no less).

I never felt so alone. I held my babies and cried all day long.

Nope, it wasn't a botched name, that I can recall.

Well, I've said this in another thread but I don't mind putting it here again. I had put in a rather long day at work, doing a lot of scrambling around and getting officers where they needed to be, and when. The TV had been going in the background all day and by the time I got home that evening I was exhausted. I needed to go somewhere where there were people who weren't work people. I needed people.

I can't say why I came here, but I'm glad I did.
