Links within the story text?

I don't mean to be a pest, since I've asked this before, but I still haven't gotten an answer. Is it possible to put links within the story text? This would be helpful for those chapter stories, and also if you'd like to put in a link to a feedback thread on the forum.

As far as I know, they can be put into stories the same way that the html tags for italics and bold fonts can.

I don't think there would be a problem with links within Literotica, but Laurel said somewhere she didn't want links to other sites included. That was said in reference to story illustration links but I'm sure it applies to other links in stories as well.

If there is a problem with the links in your story, I'm sure that Laurel will let you know.

When I submitted Aunt Ellen Ch. 5 I included the link to my profile page so that readers could easily get to the other parts.
Laurel took it out, at Manu's suggestion, on the premise that the database could be amended at any time and the link would become invalid.

I wrote a story which was basically the story of a woman reading a lit story and getting off. Since I heavily cut text from the story, I put a link to it. Well, though he is a heavily talented writer he has some issues with the mechanics of writing. So he fixed 'em after my story, resubmitted, and the link I put at the beginning of my story no longer worked. Ya live'n learn, neh? I can't remember if I ever got Laurel to fix it. The point... there is a reason we don't put links in stories.
