This is the start of what I hope will be a twelve month challenge, starting in November where you are asked to submit your 3 line poem(s). Any topic and number of poems and forms within the requisite number of lines are acceptable

If there is a good response, the line count will increase by one each month. The December challenge will be for four line poems, and so on to ending with fourteen line poems in October.

entry

there is always that
moment of hesitation
till one takes the plunge

terrible tuesday?

every vote counts
every vote should be counted
hopes for the best--expects the worst

corona virus, evictions, elections
brain bogged in gloom
november starts sunny, at least

Left is where the heart beats
the right and wrong of truthful lies
what lies in-between soon beaten down

Random thoughts from another poster,
stir my mind and conjure up
a very saucy image in my head!

Garden

We were left alone.

....The cherry was flowering,
..............but you were as sweet.

Who would have thought that you,
who I hold in such high esteem, Now try
to lead down roads best not taken.

Katauta

Satie soft near dawn
Nocturnes in a blue bedroom
Our hearts beat in counterpoint

Delusions of grandeur sit like the emperors new clothes
brazenly naked, screaming look at me
a cohort of masks most of them a shade of projection

I'm very good at squeezing my
Kegel muscles very tight, so tight in fact
I can make it hard to withdraw.

Deafening Quiet

Because of silence
He took his leave
So now I sit alone.

Embers

.......You read some poems
in a shy, soft voice. I felt

....each word as your warm embrace.

Aroused France:
Enraged as never before!!!
Liberty! Equalite!! Fraternity!!!

Feathery willow
skims the window, my hair spread
across your chest. Our haven.

Explaining Poetry to Kurt and Elizabeth

Why her? asked my friends.

.....Because language is beauty,

..........and she writes like an angel.

Election Day in the USA
once we had a dream
now I fear a nightmare.

Wild strawberries,
fragrant, ripe. Open your mouth,
lover. Take my gift for you.

Conundrum

I cannot touch you—

.....yet my fingers slip along
..your arms, your hips. .. Paradox.

Daily
(Katauta 4)

Lay on the bed. Breathe.
Think about poetry. Words
whispering, worlds colliding.
