Lindsay brown's Charges are dropped, but she still had to miss graduation

NO CHARGES AGAINST LINDSAY BROWN
Remember that kitchen knife under the passenger seat in Lindsay Brown’s car? Yeah, that knife. The knife which the acting superintendent of the Lee County, Florida schools presented a “clear and present danger” to every child in the school. Well, prosecutors have decided that the knife presented no such thing and that Lindsay Brown’s actions were not criminal. There was no intent to use that knife in the commission of a crime and, in fact, Lindsay didn’t even know the knife was there! In the meantime, Lindsay missed here graduation and other school activities. At least this will mean that her academic scholarship to Florida Gulf Coast University isn’t threatened.

Will you Lee County, Florida voters please do something about these fools you have running your local schools?

Ummm Todd? All over the world schools are run by fools. Schools are factional institutions for politicians and various interest groups to invest whatever doctrines, policies and elements of curriculum they deem expedient at the time. Obviously using innocent people as an example in a political agenda that proposes a crackdown on carrying weapons is only the thin edge of the wedge. You didn't think schools were places where people learned to read and write did you?
