I have what I think is an odd question, but one that has bugged me all my life.

When my penis is limp, it "disappears" back up inside. When I get an erection, it behaves like a good little boy, but when it's job is done, it goes back and hides.

Does anyone else do this? Is it really common or a problem?

I'm not sure how common it is but there are plenty of photos on the internet of this sort of thing (although the internet tends to emphasise the unusual).

What I would say is that it isn't a problem, as long as it works how it performs the functions it needs to then there cannot be one. If you are really worried from a medical standpoint then the first port of call is always the doctors but it seems to me that you're not so I wouldn't even bother doing that.

Just learn to love it :D

A retracting/hidden/turtle/disappearing penis is a fairly common thing.

Are you overweight, by chance?

If so, losing weight may help.

If not, you may have been born with a larger pubic fat pad.

Some guys claim a stretching regimen helps. If you google 'retracting penis' you'll see lots of guys have brought this up, and what some have done about it.

I'd suggest talking to your doc about it if it's a problem for you, too. They should be able to figure out what's causing it in your case and tell you your options for treating it.
